OEM MANUFACTURING

Established cookware made to the buyer’s specification

OEM manufacturing begins with an existing Yuanzhou model. The buyer selects the product, available size and required finish, then confirms branding, accessories, packaging and destination-market requirements.

Using an established product structure reduces development work because the mold and core manufacturing route are already defined. The project can move directly into specification review and sampling, subject to the selected finish and customization. Before production, both parties confirm the model number, dimensions, unit weight, surface treatment, logo position, packing method and carton details.

The approved sample and written order specification become the reference for casting, machining, finishing, assembly, inspection and packing. This route is suited to buyers who want to build or extend a cookware range without creating a new product from the beginning.

ODM DEVELOPMENT

Product development from a market brief or reference concept

ODM projects start with the intended use, target market, price position and sales channel. A buyer may provide a reference product, design direction or performance requirement without supplying a completed production drawing.

Yuanzhou reviews the concept against cast iron manufacturing constraints, available molds and component options. The technical team considers product geometry, wall structure, handles, lids, knobs, wooden parts, cooking surface and packing protection. Where appropriate, an existing model can be adapted. Products that require a different structure move into new-mold evaluation.

The development route is agreed before sampling so tooling, finish, accessories, packaging and inspection expectations remain connected throughout the project.

PRIVATE-LABEL PROGRAMS

Cookware prepared for the buyer’s brand and sales channel

Private-label work can cover a single item or a coordinated product range. Buyers may use established Yuanzhou models and apply an approved combination of surface finish, color, logo, accessories and packaging.

For retail programs, the product and its presentation are reviewed together. Color direction, care information, barcode placement, retail-pack dimensions and master-carton markings need to match the destination channel. Foodservice and distribution programs may use simpler packaging while placing greater emphasis on product format, durability and repeat ordering.

When several models form one collection, Yuanzhou reviews whether the finish, color, branding and packaging can be repeated consistently across the range.

MOLD DEVELOPMENT

Technical review before tooling begins

New molds are reviewed from a drawing, reference sample or sufficiently detailed product specification. The assessment covers overall dimensions, wall thickness, handles, lid fit, weight range, machining points and any components that must be assembled after casting.

Tooling cost, development timing and the sample-approval route are confirmed before mold work starts. The first sample is used to evaluate the casting, dimensions, weight, fit and surface preparation. If changes are required, they are resolved before the product moves into finish and packaging approval.

Mass production does not begin until the product structure and approved sample are documented.

PACKAGING

Protection, presentation and export handling considered together

Standard packing uses blister packing with an outer carton. The outer pack can use a standard carton or a customized color box according to the buyer’s sales channel.

Customized packaging may include printed boxes, labels, barcodes, instruction sheets, care guides and carton markings prepared from approved artwork. The packing structure must protect a heavy cast iron product, its finish and any lids, handles or wooden accessories during storage and international transport.

Packaging dimensions, materials, artwork, inner protection and master-carton requirements are confirmed before production. When the buyer has a specific drop-test, pallet or retailer standard, it should be included in the original project brief.

LOGO APPLICATION

Branding matched to the product and manufacturing process

Logo options depend on the cookware structure, surface finish and intended presentation. Branding may be applied to the product, an accessory or the packaging after technical review.

The buyer should provide vector artwork together with the required position, size and appearance. Yuanzhou checks whether the selected method is compatible with casting, seasoning, enamel application and normal product use. Packaging logos, labels and printed materials are reviewed separately against the approved artwork.

Logo placement and appearance are confirmed during sampling and checked again during production and packing.

SURFACE FINISH

Vegetable-oil seasoning or enamel selected for the product program

Yuanzhou supplies vegetable-oil pre-seasoned and enameled cast iron cookware according to the product and buyer requirements.

Pre-seasoned products are prepared and treated with vegetable oil before packing. The sample review covers surface appearance, oil coverage and handling requirements. Enameled products require confirmation of the color reference, interior and exterior finish, gloss direction and acceptable appearance standard.

Not every finish is appropriate for every product structure. Feasibility is reviewed before quotation, and the approved finish sample becomes the production reference. Care instructions and packing protection should reflect the selected surface.

PRODUCT CUSTOMIZATION

Changes reviewed as part of the complete manufacturing route

Customization may involve product dimensions, handle or lid details, wooden bases, knobs, accessories, surface finish, enamel color, branding or packaging. Each change is reviewed for its effect on tooling, production, assembly, inspection and cost.

Minor changes to an established model may follow the existing manufacturing route. Structural changes can require a new drawing, mold or fitting sample. Product sets also need a coordinated review so the selected pieces, accessories and packaging work as one selling unit.

The factory confirms feasibility before sample preparation. This prevents a visual request from being approved without considering how it will be produced repeatedly.

PRODUCTION WORKFLOW

Confirmed decisions carried through each manufacturing stage

The workflow begins with an inquiry covering the model or product concept, quantity, destination market, finish, branding, packaging, test requirements and delivery window. Yuanzhou then confirms whether the project should use an existing model, a modified structure or a new mold.

After technical review, samples are prepared for product, finish and packaging approval. Production is scheduled only when the sample and written specification are confirmed. The main stages may include casting, grinding, machining, seasoning or enamel application, accessory assembly, in-process inspection and packing.

Final checks cover the agreed product and packaging details before cartons are released for shipment preparation.

SAMPLE APPROVAL

The reference point for production and inspection

Samples can be arranged for established models and approved development projects. The sample scope depends on what must be confirmed: product structure, dimensions, unit weight, finish, color, logo, accessories or packaging.

An existing model may be available for a faster initial review, while custom enamel colors, new molds and printed packaging require additional preparation. If several elements are being developed, they may be approved in stages rather than combined into the first sample.

Buyer comments should be recorded clearly, with revised drawings, color references or artwork where required. Once approved, the sample and written specification become the basis for production checks.

MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY

100 pieces per model

The minimum order quantity is 100 pieces per model. The quotation is based on the selected product, size, finish, branding and packaging.

Projects involving a new mold, custom enamel color, special components or printed packaging may carry additional tooling, setup or material requirements. These are reviewed separately from the base product quantity before the buyer approves the project.

For a multi-model range, provide the required quantity for each model so production and packing can be assessed accurately.

LEAD TIME

Confirmed after the product and order requirements are defined

Lead time depends on the model, order quantity, surface finish, level of customization, packaging, inspection scope and production schedule. An existing model with standard specifications follows a different route from a new mold or custom enamel program.

Sample timing is confirmed first. After sample and order approval, Yuanzhou provides a production schedule based on the final specification and required shipment window. Changes to product structure, color, artwork or packaging after approval can affect that schedule.

For an accurate review, buyers should provide the target delivery date with the initial inquiry and allow time for sampling, approval, production, inspection and export preparation.
