PRODUCTION QUALITY CONTROL

Inspection based on the approved product and order specification

Yuanzhou applies inspection throughout casting, finishing, assembly and packing. The checks used for each order are defined by the product model, dimensions, weight, surface finish, color, components, branding, packaging and buyer requirements.

MATERIAL AND COMPONENT CHECKS

Confirming the items required before production and assembly

Incoming inspection covers the materials and purchased components assigned to the order. Depending on the product, this may include coating materials, vegetable oil, lids, knobs, handles, wooden bases, labels, printed packaging and outer cartons.

The inspection team checks received items against the approved specification, artwork or reference sample. Quantity, dimensions, condition, color and identifying information are reviewed where applicable. Non-conforming items are separated before production or assembly.

This stage helps prevent an incorrect accessory, color or printed item from becoming part of the finished product.

IN-PROCESS CONTROL

Checks applied at the stage where an issue can be corrected

Process inspection follows the product through casting, grinding, machining, seasoning, enameling and assembly. Casting checks consider visible defects, shape, dimensions, weight and the condition of edges and handles. Grinding and machining are reviewed before surface treatment or component fitting.

For pre-seasoned cookware, the prepared surface and vegetable-oil coverage are checked before packing. Enameled products are reviewed for coating coverage, color consistency, rims, edges and visible appearance against the approved sample. Products with lids, knobs, handles or wooden bases are checked for fit and placement during assembly.

Finding variation during production allows the workshop to respond before final inspection.

FINISHED-PRODUCT REVIEW

The completed order checked before release to packing or shipment

Final inspection compares finished products with the approved sample and written order specification. The scope may include model, dimensions, unit weight, casting condition, surface finish, enamel color, seasoning appearance, logo position, component fit and visible workmanship.

Sampling method and acceptance criteria should be confirmed before production when the buyer has a specific standard. Required function, fit and appearance checks are then included in the inspection plan.

Products released from final inspection move into the confirmed packing process. Items requiring correction are separated for review.

FOOD-CONTACT REVIEW

Testing requirements confirmed by product, finish and destination market

Food-contact requirements vary by market, product and surface finish. Buyers should identify the destination country, standard and test scope during quotation.

Yuanzhou reviews the selected model, enamel or pre-seasoned finish and any components that form part of the test sample. Sample preparation, laboratory requirements, cost, timing and document responsibility are then confirmed before testing begins.

Test support applies to the product and finish submitted. A report should not be assumed to cover a different coating, color, structure or component without review.

LFGB TEST SUPPORT

Project review for products intended for applicable European markets

LFGB-related testing can be coordinated for confirmed cookware products and finishes. The buyer should provide the destination market, required test items and any retailer-specific documentation requirements before quotation.

The factory prepares the agreed sample and works with the designated testing route. Timing depends on sample availability, finish preparation and laboratory schedule. The final report corresponds to the tested sample and stated test conditions.

FDA-RELATED TEST SUPPORT

Requirements reviewed for the selected product and surface

FDA-related food-contact testing can be reviewed for products intended for the United States. The exact requirement depends on the material, surface finish, intended use and buyer specification.

Before testing, both parties confirm the model, finish, sample quantity, laboratory route and documentation. Product or coating changes require a review of the existing report.

PACKING CONTROL

Checking protection, printed details and carton preparation

Packing inspection covers the selling unit and master carton. The team checks the inner protection, product orientation, accessories, instruction materials, labels, barcodes, color-box artwork and carton markings against the approved packing information.

Standard packing uses blister packing with an outer carton. For customized color boxes or additional printed materials, approved artwork and physical samples provide the inspection reference.

Carton quantity, condition and identification are checked before finished goods enter the warehouse. Particular attention is given to movement and impact protection because cast iron products are heavy and finished surfaces can be damaged during transport.

PRE-SHIPMENT CHECK

Order information verified before loading

Before shipment, the factory reviews the packed quantity, carton count, model identification, carton markings and visible carton condition. Shipment information is compared with the order and commercial documents before loading coordination.

Buyers may arrange inspection by their own team or a nominated third-party company. The inspection standard, sampling method, timing and report requirements should be agreed in advance so cartons and products can be made available without disrupting the shipment schedule.

Loading preparation also considers carton weight, order separation and protection during handling.

PRODUCTION FOLLOW-UP

Using inspection results to improve repeat orders

Inspection records, buyer comments and production findings provide a reference for later orders. When a variation or complaint is reported, the factory reviews the affected model, production stage, inspection record and packing information to identify where corrective action is required.

Approved changes are added to the relevant specification, sample reference or inspection point before the next production run. This may involve a casting detail, finishing method, assembly check, packaging protection or carton instruction.

The objective is repeatability: the buyer’s approved product should remain consistent as the program continues across multiple orders. Clear records and practical follow-up help the production team maintain that standard over time.
